My mum is getting on a bit bless her, and my brother and I have suggested we pay to have Stannah stairlift fitted in her house. But my mum is refusing to let us do it because she thinks that it will make her stairs look ugly!
I mean for goodness sake, she can hardly get up and down the stairs at the moment, my dad has to help her, and he's not much use because he's pretty old as well, I've had a look through some of the catalogs for Stannah Stairlifts and some of them actually look pretty swanky and sophisticated. However they will probably be more on the expensive side. I guess we will have to come to some compromise because I don't want my mum falling down the stairs just because she wants a clutter free hallway!
