Prices

All prices quoted are subject to variation without notice. Retail prices shown include VAT at the standard rate of 17.5% at the time of going to print.

Availability

All products and services illustrated on the website, catalogues or brochures are offered subject to availability; the inclusion of any item does not constitute an offer for sale.

On-line Payments

The Wellard & Scott website uses 100% secure encryption (Protx) for transferring your credit card details during a transaction.

We accept payments from most major credit cards, including: Mastercard, Solo, Switch/ UK Maestro, Visa, Visa Debit/ Delta or Visa Electron. Please note, if you are shopping from outside the UK, your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency automatically.

A contract of sale exists only when your payment has been processed. We will only take a payment from your credit card when the item ordered is available at our warehouse facility, in the UK, and ready to ship.

Goods ordered that are not available for 28 days (or more) will not be shipped without contacting you first. We will only take a payment from your credit card when the item ordered is ready for delivery.

Special Orders

Specially requested items will require payment in advance and cannot be refused unless faulty – in which case you should notify us immediately and no later than 3-days following receipt of the goods. This particularly applies to items made or purchased to order.

Shipping and Handling

Wellard & Scott reserves the right to update and/ or alter its shipping costs at any time without prior notice.

International shipping is available in most countries – For countries outside those listed, please contact us for a quote.

All UK mainland orders over £50.00 are shipped FREE by Courier so please be aware that when your order is delivered a signature will be required, orders under £50.00 will be charged a minimum of £8.00 postage & packaging.

Orders are normally dispatched the same working day if ordered before 3pm (Mon - Fri) Orders are normally delivered within 5 working days but please allow up to 28 days. If an item is out of stock we will notify you of its availability.

Kayaks and similarly large items can be shipped to UK mainland addresses a cost of £60.00/ Kayak. For other areas, please contact this office for a quote.

Deliveries - UK

We cannot guarantee the delivery timescales and services of our shipping agents but we will do everything we can to make sure your goods reach you in good condition and without undue delay.

Goods which arrive damaged should NOT be accepted (or signed for) – Please notify us immediately – No later than 3 days.

If you are unlikely to be at home to receive the parcel or unable to sign for a delivery – please supply an alternative address to where your parcel can be delivered safely.

Back Orders

We do not list ‘out of stock’ items – In most cases we are able to supply within 28 days. However, if you want us to keep back orders for you then please inform us at time of ordering.

No postage is charged on Back Orders (UK only)

VAT 17.5% (Value Added Tax)

All orders made from the UK or the European Union have 17.5% VAT added. Please note that product prices are displayed inclusive of VAT.

All other orders are VAT free and will automatically be charged the correct price for your country. Please contact this office if you require any additional information.

Warranty & Returns Policy

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, you have a right to cancel your order for any item purchased on this website for a full refund. This does not apply to items personalised or made to your own specification; audio/video recordings or software that you have unsealed.

To cancel your order, you can email us or write to us within seven days of delivery of your item(s), quoting your order/ invoice reference number. You must take all reasonable care of the item(s) and must not have used the item(s).

All Wellard & Scott products are covered by the manufacturer’s 12 month warranty. During this period if any manufacturing or material fault develops, the item will be replaced, or repaired (at our discretion) without question.

Please note however, that particularly in the case of clothing, this warranty does not cover accidental damage, fair wear and tear or damage considered to be caused by incorrect choice of size. The manufacturer’s Warranty does not include the commercial use of any item.

In the unlikely event that a problem develops on one of our products, please contact the retailer who supplied the goods along with your proof of purchase (Till Receipt/ Credit Card slip).

Items which we request to be sent on to us will also require a proof of purchase. We regret that we are unable to deal with any returns without this information.

To avoid disappointment, delays and additional costs, please ensure that any items returned to Wellard & Scott are done so through the original place of purchase.

Wellard & Scott is not responsible for the refunding of postage costs incurred by customers using delivery agencies, couriers or services not contracted to Wellard & Scott.

In the event you receive faulty or damaged goods, directly from us and not through your dealer, please contact this office and we will arrange for a collection at your convenience.

Warranty

Please register all warranties directly with the manufacturer. Failure to do so may cause unnecessary delays.
